Given a set of charged particles in a closed system, an electric field characterizes the force that would be felt on a positive test charge anywhere within that space. It is important to note that an electrostatic charge is only created between charged particles. There is no force acting on any point in this field until a charge is placed there.

The force between two charged particles can be determined using Coulomb's law.

The simluation is implemented in Python, using the NumPy and Matplotlib libraries.
